Sakti Gardens is truly a beautiful hotel. It has a majestic feel which hugs you from the very moment you arrive. Step inside the vast palatial welcome hall and your gaze is instantlycaptured by the lush greenery stretching beyond with glimpse of the cerulean waters of the pool undulating below. There are sweeping staircases, marble floors, art and sculptures set against the backdrop of architectually fascinating volcanic rock walls dressed by verdant tropical planting. The staff are impeccable and pay particular attention to the small details. They really take the time to learn their guests names and a little about them and to engage at each guests level. One of the staff turned out to be a Balinese language teacher and was keen to offer some useful phrases we then used with much success in Ubud. Our room was beautiful. It was perfectly clean and spacious with a large bathroom and a quiet balcony overlooking the gardens which interlace throughout the meandering roofs of the hotel. The restaurant offers a wide selection for breakfast - you will definitely not go hungry and their are options to suit all tastes - we loved the 'Eggstation' and the pancakes and fruit inparticular. The in house Udyana Spa is perfectly in keeping with the high level of opulence without being pretentious. I had a full body massage and it was truly glorious. I especially loved the welcome tea and the choice of oils Oh and the playlist - all so conducive to being able to melt into rest. The hotel is in a quieter area on the outskirts of Ubud - there is a shuttle bus which gets you within walking distance of the centre with drops/pick ups 3 times a day - we used this twice during our 2 night stay and it worked pretty well.

When you first walk into the reception area of the resort, the view across the pool is breath taking. It is a beautiful reception and restaurant area. The staff were attentive and helpful and the welcome drink was very appreciated. The breakfast was to die for, the fruit was so fresh and sweet it was my favourite breakfast from 5 different motels during my trip. The breakfast was open for a long time so it is available for many people. The rooms and bathrooms are massive. We had a garden view room and it was stunning. The room aircon was on the whole trip and it was strong and cold. The bed is large, the bathroom is huge and we appreciated the bath with overtop shower. The pool area is wonderful. The pool is deep and there is a cute pool bar which was open until a reasonable time. The beverages were well priced and the staff were great. Large warm towels and the whole resort was spotless of any rubbish. The reception staff organised scooter hire for us which was quick and easy and they also assisted with organising a doctor to visit our room when we required one. I really enjoyed my time here, I would go back in a heart beat for their freshly baked bread and tasty desserts. We chose to eat dinner at the resort restaurant twice and both times we were very satisfied with the food. Finally, even with it being a jungle/garden setting, we had no bugs in our room, we had no mosquitoes near the pool, it truly was a relaxing beautiful place to stay. Sorry my pictures don't do the place justice.

I would highly recommend staying at this mesmerising place. Starting from extremely polite and attentive staff who really looks after you, decoration of the hotel is in traditional balinese style - beautiful! The rooms are spacious and very private. The bathtub is super comfortable for a relaxing soak, shower pressure is superb. They service your room twice a day refilling water and cleaning up. Breakfast has loads of options even a little Indian corner. And the swimming pool! 1.75m deep perfect for what we like. There is also 0.50m deep side if you prefer shallow water. Overall green, clean, comfortable, feels like you are in a jungle but I have not really seen any mosquitos maybe a few sandflies but that’s all I just assume they fumigate the place. They also provide a shuttle to the center which is nice but with gojek is super easy to go in and out. I’d stay here for a few weeks easily. Definitely coming back here again.

The ground is immaculate. It feels you are in a resort as the name indicates. The view from our room was soothing. Every morning I sat down enjoying the morning lights watching the ducks being released from the pen. The staff is very friendly. From the check in to check out and all in between. Ni Wayan, the restaurant manager, was very kind and warm. They accommodated our request to bring celebratory traditional food to celebrate my friends birthday. Even provided cakes for her birthday and a cake to celebrate Mother's day.

The accommodations: very clean, comfortable, quiet, had everything we needed. They had a very punctual shuttle that will take you to the center of Ubud, a very good spa, a clean beautiful pool and a nice restaurant. Staff: very kind and helpful, they really made us feel welcome and appreciated. The restaurant: very yummy, the noodles and the lava cake was super delicious! Overall: Sakti is a great place to relax in paradise, we would like to thank all the Salki team that made our stay even better!
